Located on Magnetic Island, only minutes by car from the ferry landing. 20 minutes by ferry from Townsville to Magnetic Island, regular ferry transport. Pleasant island with good beaches and a lot of wildlife. Claims to be the only backpackers on the beach in Australia. Rooms

The resort has on-site dive shop. Learn to dive on Magnetic Island, one of the best value places in Australia. Go koala spotting on a bush walk, sea kayak around the island or horse ride bare back on the beach. Excellent value for money.
